Need Writing Coaching?
Basic Coaching Package
Get six private, hour-long coaching sessions from one of our award-winning writers. Depending on your type of writing, we will evaluate several chapters of a book, several essays, or a complete short story. We will also answer any questions or concerns you have in between sessions. Ideal for shorter manuscripts.

Standard Coaching Package
We will help you discover what you need to create your best book, from plotting to developing character arcs to making sure you have enough conflict. In twelve one-on-one coaching sessions, we will read and evaluate sections of your work and provide detailed feedback. We will answer any questions or concerns you have between sessions, too. Ideal for full-length works.

Loved your first package, but don’t wish to purchase another one? Consider retainer coaching. You can tailor the time to fit your needs and receive ongoing evaluations of your work.

Need Editing Services?
Substantive Editing
A substantive editor gets involved once your project is written. We help you get your project close to being finalized by suggesting places where rewriting or restructuring would improve clarity, accuracy, or readability.
Starting at: $0.0225 per word for fiction (example: $225 per 10,000 words)
Copyediting
A copy editor looks for consistency and continuity, as well as policing grammar and style. We check each of your sentences for spelling, punctuation, and grammar. If a sentence is hard to understand, we’ll suggest alternatives.
Starting at: $0.0175 per word for fiction (example: $175 per 10,000 words)
Proofreading
A proofreader is a writer’s last line of defense. We review your project after it has been through the design and formatting process, doing a final check for word and design errors.
Starting at: $0.01 per word for fiction writing (example: $100 per 10,000 words)
Overview Reading
Similar to a beta read, we will read your book and provide feedback from the perspective of an average audience member. Our critique will be at a higher level than editing, focusing on overall marketability of the book.
Starting at: $350 (works over 80,000 may be subject to additional charges)
Please note: for all editing services there is a $150 minimum charge. Nonfiction charges are dependent on material provided.
